Will Yakima StageTwo Bike Rack Work with Front Fender Bike

1 Can this rack be used with e-bikes with fenders? 2 How does the rack compare to the previous StageTwo? Thanks

If your e-Bike has really short fenders then you will be okay to use the Yakima StageTwo Bike Rack # Y47VR, but as a rule of thumb we recommend not using a wheel mount bike rack with a front-fendered bike just to avoid damaging the fender. For a standard fendered e-Bike I recommend checking out the Yakima OnRamp # Y36FR instead.
The StageTwo is a new bike rack design from Yakima and doesn't have a direct predecessor to compare it to. The only other StageTwo Yakima released is just a different color - the Gray version # Y87VR. If you're talking about the name being "StageTwo" that's just what Yakima chose to call it - there was never a "Stage" or "StageOne" bike rack.
