Plug and Play Adapter for a Brake Controller on a 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee limited
Question:
I purchased the RED24FR Tow-Pro Liberty for my 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited 4X4 with a factory installed tow package. The connection from the factory is on the left side of the steering wheel under the dash. The connection is a 4 pole male connection. I was told there is not plug and go harness for that connection to the RED24FR. I was planning to return the controller until I read that you can connect the tow-pro liberty with a 3045-P harness and a 331-TPH-017 adapter. If you can confirm that this will work, I will order the parts and keep the red24fr controller. Thanks

Since your 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited has the factory tow package, you can use the Tekonsha Plug-In Wiring Adapter for Electric Brake Controllers item # TK93VR and the Redarc Tow-Pro Wiring Adapter for Tekonsha Brake Controller Harness item # 331-TPH-017 to connect your Redarc Tow-Pro Liberty Brake Controller item # RED24FR. These two harnesses will save you a lot of time and you will avoid the hassle of cutting and splicing wires. I have linked a picture of what the Tekonsha # TK93VR plug looks like along with a picture of the port on your Jeep so you confirm they are the same. I have also linked a couple of installation videos to help you get your brake controller set up.
