Which Actuator Can I Use To Replace My Atwood Actuator On My Shore-Liner Trailer

Question:

trailer has disk brakes trailer holds a 17 Ft Lund Aluminum Fishing boat with 115 HP Yamaha dry weight approx 2500lbs thinking i need DM62VR also think i need HM20086 to wire to 7 plug adapter on tow vehicle - either a 2013 Toyota Sequoia or a 2015 Toyota Tacoma. is there a manual for the DM62VR? what i cant figure out is how to lock the DM62VR once installed - would an e98888 work? Aside from the 1/2inch x 4-1/2inch Grade-5 bolts - might there be anything else i need to complete the install? Thanks

When it comes to replacing your actuator on your Shore-Liner Trailer The Demco Hydraulic Brake Actuator w/ Electric Lockout - Disc - Zinc - 2 inch Ball - 7,000 pounds # DM62VR will work for you. The system has an electric reverse lockout which lets you back up without actuating the trailer brakes. It has an EZ-Latch coupler mechanism while allows a simple, secure hookup and when disconnecting. This will work if you have a 3 inch wide trailer tongue, the bolt holes are 3 inches apart on center.

I also recommend The etrailer Surge Brake Coupler Lock - 3-3/8 inch Span - 1/4 inch Diameter - Chrome # e98888. It has an overall length of 6-7/8 inches. It has a sturdy steel construction. The chrome finish resists rust and corrosion.

When installing a 7 plug wiring on your 2013 Toyota Sequoia you would need 7- and 4-Pole Trailer Connector Socket w/ Mounting Bracket - Vehicle End # HM40975 which will plug into your existing factory connector. When it comes to your 2015 Toyota Tacoma you would need The T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # 118496 which comes out as a 4 flat that then to adapter that 4 flat into a 7 way you would need The universal wiring harness for Brake Controller # ETBC7.

I have attached a review and installation video link below.
