Replacement Hitch for a 2009 Nissan Xterra and Wiring Brackets
Question:
Hello, I am replacing my OEM hitch as it has rusted out, I will order the Curtis replacement, however, I dont see the wiring harness like the OEM has where its connected to the actual hitch via a welded plate? The OEM is the 7 PIN connector, do you sell this as a separate unit to attach?

The Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver item # 13514 you referenced does fit your 2009 Nissan Xterra but it does not have a bracket to attach a wiring harness. You are going to need the Curt No-Drill Bracket for 6-Way or 7-Way Round Trailer Connector Mounting Bracket - Long item # C57202. This bracket attaches your trailer connector mounting bracket to your Xterra without having to drill into your frame. You will then place your OEM 7-way in the Mounting Bracket and Installation Hardware - Pollak 7-Pole, RV-Style Trailer Connector item # PK12711U.
If you need a replacement connector for your Xterra's OEM 7-way you will want the Pollak Replacement 7-Pole, RV-Style Trailer Connector Socket - Vehicle End item # PK11893. If the wiring has been damaged you will need to replace the entire wiring kit with the Tekonsha T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 7-Way Trailer Connector item # 118266.
