Would the Exhaust of a 2012 Buick Enclave Interfere with a Thule Transporter Cargo Carrier
Question:
Will the exhaust of my wifes 2012 Buick Enclave be an issue with this Thule model? If so, are there any weather resistant models you recommend?

The Thule Transporter Combi Hitch Mounted Enclosed Cargo Carrier # TH665C that you referenced should work very well on your 2012 Buick Enclave as long as you have a hitch installed on your vehicle.
If you do not have a hitch I would recommend you go with a Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch # 75528. This is a Class III hitch with a 2 inch opening that would work very well for you. We found then when this hitch is installed there is a distance of 5 inches from the center of the hitch pin out to the furthest point out on the rear bumper. The # TH665C that you referenced has a distance of 7-1/2 inches from the center of the hitch pin to the back of the upright bar so you would have enough clearance.
The exhaust should not be a problem either. The exhaust of the vehicle basically sits level with the hitch opening and the # TH665C has a shank with a rise built into it that would put the carrier above the hot exhaust if that was your concern.
I attached a review video for the # TH665C for you to check out
