I am not sure which video or hitch number you are referring to but the etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver item # e98902 you were looking at is confirmed to fit a 2015 Mazda CX-5. This hitch is custom fit and bolts directly to your Mazda with included hardware. I have linked an installation video so you can follow along with the process and confirmed that the part numbers do match up.
For a wiring harness that will control your trailer or accessories lighting functions I recommend the Tekonsha T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector item # 118563. This custom-fit T-One connector plugs into your vehicle's wiring harness, which is located in your rear cargo area. It will provide you with a 4-Flat vehicle connector. I have linked an installation video.
If you are going to be towing you will need the Curt Towing Starter Kit for 2" Hitches item # C45534. This towing kit will provide you with a 2" ball and a fixed ball mount with a 3/4" rise and 2" drop. It also includes a hitch pin and clip, hitch receiver lock with keys, hitch cover, and a storage case.
