Can I Make Removing And Installing The RockyMounts Backstage Easier
Question:
I was wondering how easy it is to take off the rack from the hitch? I have a travel trailer Im selling, but dont want to order this rack until thats sold if its gonna be a hassle to reattach multiple times. If its easy, no problem and Ill probably get it right away. Thank you

I do have a solution for you to make it easier to remove the RockyMounts BackStage Bike Rack for 2 Bikes - 2" Hitches - Wheel Mount, part # RKY10002. All you need to do is add the etrailer Hitch Pin Alignment Collar for Bike Racks, Cargo Carriers, and Tow Bars - 2" Hitches, part # e98942.
When you are ready to mount your BackStage for the first time, you will first slip the Hitch Pin Alignment Collar on your hitch bike rack as far back as it can go. You can loosely secure it at this point. We do not want it to all of your bike rack. The next step is to install the hitch bike rack. Once you have the hitch bike rack installed in your trailer hitch and secured in the correct position, you will loosen the alignment collar and slide forward. You want to move it until it is touching the trailer hitch. Now you can tighten it.
I have included a product description link and video review links below.
With the alignment collar in place, whenever you need to install this rack you will not have to worry about the hitch pin placement. You will slide it in as far as it goes. The alignment collar will always position it in the correct spot. You will have to deal with the weight of the hitch bike rack, but it will be very easy in install.
