When it comes to locking your Kuat Beta bike rack to your 2 inch hitch I recommend The etrailer Hitch Receiver Lock # e98881. Its made from steel and has a 3-5/8 inch span, with a 5/8 inch pin diameter. The Kuat Lock # HL2 will not work with your Kuat Beta, because it has a 1/2 inch pin diamter.
