2013 BMW X5 Trailer Wiring Recommendation
Question:
I have a 2013 BMW X5 x3.5i, and will the HM48925 tail light converter fit this vehicle-thank you.

Expert Reply:
The Upgraded Tail Light Converter # HM48925 is a universal fit and will technically fit your 2013 BMW X5. With that being said, I recommend going with the Tekonsha ZCI Circuit Protected Wiring Kit # 119190KIT instead because it has an extra wire you route to your vehicle battery so your trailer lights are being powered by your battery and not the circuits on your BMW.
I'm linking an installation video of this kit on a 2012 X5 for you to check out.
