Can Fan-Tastic Replacement Fan Motor Assembly be Used on MaxxAir Vent

Question:

Will this also work for the Maxxair vent? My motor went out and the replacement motor is 90 of the cost of an entire new Maxxair vent kit.

I'm sure you could probably modify your MaxxAir Vent to work with the Replacement Fan Motor Assembly Kit # FVK8017-00, but since these are entirely different systems your only plug and play solution is to get the motor that matches your vent. Also, I don't really recommend modifying an air vent unless you really know what you're doing.

Since the motor you're needing is about the same price as an entire new unit I recommend just replacing your entire vent if it's a little older so you know you have all new parts. I've linked our selection of MaxxAir roof vents for you to filter through for the correct replacement. These range from the basic 12V Vent # MA00-04751KSX to the Deluxe # MA00-07000K.
