I have a 2022 Mazda Cx 5. Mazda does not have a hitch yet because they changed the rear bumper. Is the 76138 designed to fit the new rear bumper

Yes, the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver # 76138 will fit your 2022 Mazda CX-5 with the new rear bumper. This is confirmed to fit all models of the 2022 CX-5 with the exception of the diesel. This is a custom-fit Class III hitch with a 2" receiver. It has a concealed cross tube so only the receiver will be visible at the back of your vehicle. It also features a limited lifetime warranty.

If you plan on doing some towing, I recommend the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness # 118746 for your wiring needs. This wiring harness plugs into existing wiring and will provide you with a 4-way connection to power your trailer's signal lights.

For a ball mount, check out the etrailer Ball Mount Kit # 989900. This kit has two ball mounts, one with a 3/4" rise or 2" drop and the other with a 2-3/4" rise or 4" drop. It also comes with a 1-7/8" and 2" ball, as well as a ball mount bag to store everything in.
