Is Aluminum Liger Trailer Wheel Rated For 2,800 lb Travel Trailer
Question:
I have a 19', 2800 lb 2 wheel travel trailer . will these rims handle the weight and are they rated D load.

Expert Reply:
Yes, your 2,800 lb travel trailer can absolutely be supported by the Aluminum Liger wheel you asked about, which is the following part number:
- Aluminum LH84FR Trailer Wheel - 14" x 5-1/2" Rim - 5 on 4-1/2 - Gunmetal Gray # LH84FR
In regard to a "D load" wheels are not rated with a letter system like trailer tires are, they just have a weight capacity. And the # LH84FR is rated for 2,040 lbs per wheel, so a combined 4,080 lbs, which is more than enough for your 2,800 lb travel trailer.
