Installation Video of ETBC7 and Tekonsha Primus IQ on 2017 Ford Expedition
Question:
I previously installed ECBC7L on a 2015 Expedition with Tekonsha Primus IQ. E-trailer supplied a video about finding the brake controller wire along the frame rail. Im moving the controller to a 2017 Expedition and have purchased a new ECBC7l. Can you send a new link to the video that specifically addresses the blue wireinch connection? Thanks!

Just to be clear, you need the Universal Installation Kit # ETBC7 to install the Tekonsha Primus IQ # TK90160 on your 2017 Ford Expedition. The # ETBC7L will not have the wire you need for the installation and is designed for a brake controller like the Curt Echo # C51180 which plugs in line with your 7-way.
Although we do not have an installation video with the Primus IQ, I did find one which includes the # ETBC7 as well as the # RED44FR brake controller that you can use as a reference. The installation process will be the same, including the blue wire, aside from the fact that this is a different brake controller that mounts in the dash.
