Options for Carring Skis/Bikes with a 2013 Smart fortwo with Barbus Package

Question:

The Brabus package includes a center exhaust. Does your trailer hitch work with this optional muffler package? I use the hitch only for bike/ski/package racks. Your notes specify support straps for these applications. Supporting what? How? The Smart has nothing to attach these straps to. Do you have a photo or diagram for the support you specify. Thanks.

The Curt Trailer Hitch # C11020 that you referenced will not work on your vehicle because you have the Brabus package. The center exhaust would interfere with the hitch unfortunately.

The only option I can confirm would work for you is the SeaSucker Monkey Bars Roof Rack - Vacuum Cup Mount - 48" Long # 298-SX6000B.

Once you have a roof rack you could put a roof rack mounted bike rack or ski rack up there.
