Is A Capture Plate Needed For A B&W Companion Sliding 5th Wheel Hitch?
Question:
I switched over from a PullRite SuperGlide to a BandW Companion Slider. Is the capture plate still needed or do I need to remove it?

You do not need a capture plate for the B&W Companion 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch w/ Slider # BWRVK3400-5W, as it is not compatible with the hitch at all. Using the capture plate would make it where the pin box cannot turn, and would make driving impossible.
