Troubleshooting Lights Not Working After Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness Installation
Question:
I performed the wiring harness install, and plugged man light in, but they do not work... my vehicle has the factory plug up above the rear exhaust, as shown in the pictures. Is there something else I need to do to make the lights work? A fuse maybe? Thanks

The Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness # 56083 is intended as a factory replacement harness for the 2017 Lexus RX 350 with the tow package. It sounds like you may not have the tow package, although you would still have the gray plug at the back. If you did not have a black converter box already plugged into this then you will need the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness # 118255.
In order to verify this you could use a circuit tester like the # PTW2993 to ensure that power is getting to the plug on the driver's side bumper that you found. If no power is getting to the plug then you might need the converter. If you are getting power to it then the wiring harness you received might be defective and you'll want to inspect it for damage.
The other thing you want to do is make sure the connection is secure. Try unplugging the wiring harness and plugging it back in just to double check that it is seated properly. Either way you should not need an additional fuse in your vehicle.
I have attached a review and installation video for your reference.
