Can 225/75R15 Tires Replace 205/75R15 Tires on Travel Trailer
Question:
I want to switch out my 205/75R/15 and replace them with 225/75R/15 my trailer is a 2021 surveyor legend RBLE do you see any problems with that switch since the 225s are a little wider thank you

You may be able to switch to the larger tires, but it really depends on the clearance you have, so you'll want to measure. With trailer tires, the general rule of thumb is you want at least 3" of clearance from the top of the tire to the top of your wheel well/fender and at least 1" of clearance between the inside of the tire and your trailer's frame rail.
When fully inflated a 205/75R15 measures 27.1" in diameter and 8.1" wide, and a 225/75R15 measures 28.3" in diameter and 8.9" wide, so they are pretty close, but you can use that to determine if they will fit.
I also recommend going with a quality trailer tire, the Karrier ST225/75R15 Radial Trailer Tire # AM10256
I really like the Karrier # AM10256 due to their tread design which siphons water away at the sides to maintain grip, as well as its 81 mph speed rating and long 5-year warranty.
