How To Find Correct Replacement Leaf Springs for Trailer with Shelby Coupler

Do you know what length of leaf springs or on this trailer? Shelby 5101

In order to find the correct leaf springs for a trailer you first need to find your axle capacity listed on the axle tag in the center of the beam. Then, you need to note their type (double eye, slipper, etc.) and the width and length of the spring which will be taken while the spring is unloaded. These bits of info can then be used to find a replacement. The 4-Leaf Double-Eye Spring part # e68SR for example is for 3,500 lb axles and measures 25-1/8" long. I have attached all options below, the new springs will be slightly longer than the old.

Please note, Shelby is the brand of the coupler, not the maker of the trailer but we can't look up this info with the trailer maker anyhow.
