Converter and Solar Panel Charger Setup for Trailer with Four AGM Batteries
Question:
I am wanting to upgrade from Acid to AGM batteries. My 42foot living quarters horse trailer currently has 4 batteries - two of them are on top of the trailer by the generator. What converter do I need? someone also mentioned a pigtail. please let me know if this is something I need to get as well? I also want to add trickle SOLAR charger for keeping the batteries fresh. What do I need to do this?

The Progressive Dynamics Inteli-Power RV Converter and Smart Battery Charger # PD9280A that you referenced is compatible with AGM batteries so it would work well for you with the AGM batteries you plan to go with. No additional pig tail is needed.
Then for a solar panel charger setup to trickle charge the batteries the Go Power Weekender ISW RV Solar Charging System # 34282183 would work great as well. It can provide a 1,500 watt charge and also is compatible with AGM batteries.
