Is There An Underbed Demco Hijacker 5th Wheel Mount for a 2016 Ram 2500
Question:
I am in need of an auto slide 5th wheel hitch with under body mounting hardware. I have a dodge ram 2500 2016. It has the the goose neck ball mount now but I believe I may have to remove that one to install a better system. The camper is dry weight 12K I am also wonder do I need a 21k capacity hitch? any help would be great as I am picking up my camper in three weeks. I have a 6.4 bed so the last question is do you feel I need a slider. The RV is not designed for tight radius turns.

I checked with Demco and they only offer above bed mounts for a 2016 Ram 2500. Therefore, in order to use the Demco Hijacker Autoslide 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch part # DM8550035 which is what I recommend you'll need the Demco Hijacker Premier Series Above-Bed Base Rails and Custom Installation Kit for 5th Wheel Hitches part # DM8552025-71.
If the truck has a short bed then you will need a sliding hitch in order to make full turns.
