Can this winch survive being mounted on the exterior of the truck or trailer? What is the rating of the units sealing?

The Bulldog Utility Winch # BD54FR doesn't have a rating for the sealing but it is designed to be installed on the exterior of a truck or trailer setup and will do a great job at withstanding the elements. This does have the standard compliance with CE Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC and CE Electromagnetic Compatibility Directive 2004/108/EC.
