Does the Weight of the Weight Distribution System Count Towards my Tongue Weight?

Question:

I need a wdh with sway control for my 3155 dry weight Geopro 19fd that I am pulling with a 2018 Toyota Highlander AWD XLE with factory tow package 5000 with 500 tongue weight. Trailer tongue weight is 380 to 420. I am using a Husky Centerline TS that apparently weighs 100 lbs. by itself. I am told that is added to tongue weight. Is there a lighter WDH I can use? Thanks,

That information is incorrect. The actual weight of the weight distribution system does not count towards your 2018 Toyota Highlanders tongue weight. For your set up I recommend the Fastway e2 Weight Distribution w/ 2-Point Sway Control - Trunnion item # FA92-00-0600. This system has a maximum capacity of 6,000 lbs and a tongue weight range of 250 lbs - 600 lbs. The two points of steel-on-steel friction work to prevent and correct trailer sway in this weight distribution system.

You will also want the 2" Hitch Ball - 1-1/4" Diameter x 2-5/8" Long Shank - Chrome - 10,000 item # A-90.
