How To Add Second 7-Way Trailer Connector On 2008 Chevrolet Silverado
Question:
I have a 2008 Silverado new body.I have the factory towing option.is there an adapter that plugs into the truck wiring behind the factory plug that can give me an extra 7 connector so my main trailer plug is not used

Yes, the product you're looking for is called an in-bed wiring harness like the Curt 5th Wheel/Gooseneck Custom Wiring Harness part # C56070 which is what I recommend. I am not sure what you'll be using this for so it may have more wire than you need but you can just tie the extra up and it will still work great, giving you an extra trailer connector.
