Kenda Karrier ST175/80R13 Radial Trailer Tire with 13 Galvanized Wheel Warranty Information

Hi, Im looking at your Karrier ST175/80R13 Radial Trailer Tire with 13 Galvanized Wheel - 5 on 4-1/2 - Load Range D Item # AM31994. I read that the tire includes a 1yr replacement for any damage, does that include blowout and/or nail/screw in the tire? If so how does that work when damage happens? Im looking to buy spare tires for my 2-axel trailer. Thx for the info.

The warranty for the Kenda Karrier ST175/80R13 Radial Trailer Tire with 13" Galvanized Wheel item # AM31994 states that the 1-year warranty is for the tire only as opposed to the wheel, and the warranty is through Kenda tires. For the first twelve months from the date of sale, Kenda will replace your Kenda/Loadstar tire for any reason as part of our Worry-Free Warranty. So, yes any debris causing a puncture is covered. Afterwards for a period of 5 years they state that if the tire fails due to "defective materials or workmanship" it will be replaced. So long as the tire was not improperly inflated (this tire should be inflated to 65 psi) or the blowout was caused by something like running into a curb while traveling too fast and the tire has a minimum of 2/32nd inch of tire tread depth remaining. You will have to go to a KENDA/LOADSTAR Tire Distributor or participating dealer to deal with warranty issues.
