Roof Rack for 1997 Jeep Wrangler  

Question:

Your site says this rack mounts to a 97 Jeep Wrangler. Im wondering how? If this one doesnt do you have one that does?

The rack comprised of the Thule WingBars # TH711400 and Evo raised rail feet # TH710401 attach to the existing roll bars once the hard or soft top is removed. The feet clamp to the Jeep's roll bars.

If your Wrangler has a hard top that has rain gutters running along the edge of the roof, another option is the Thule 60 inch SquareBars, # TH712500 combined with the # TH65BJ Rapid Gutter Feet. The feet attach to the rain gutters. If your hard top does NOT have rain gutters, Thule offers brackets, part # TH542 that need to be installed by drilling into the hard top. If you do not feel comfortable attempting to install the brackets yourself, Thule recommends having an auto body shop complete the installation for you.
