Instructions for Installing a 5th Wheel Rail kit 50064-58 on 2012 GMC Sierra 1500 with Boxed Frame
Question:
How do you get the 3/4inch bolts that go through the side plate torqued to 260 ft. pounds. The bolt being in the frame I cannot get a wrench on it, I cannot keep the bolt from turning. Have tried with an air impact gun but the bolt still turns. Any suggestions would be great. Thanks.

It sounds like you have a boxed frame on your 2012 GMC Sierra 1500, if you check out the Figure 1D in the installation instructions you will see that you should be using different hardware than what the instructions say to use.
I attached a picture that I took from the installation instructions for this product that shows Figure 1D. If this does not help let me know.
