For a hitch that provides you with a factory, concealed look on your 2022 Subaru Forester, I recommend the EcoHitch Hidden Trailer Hitch Receiver - 2" # 306-X7391. The EcoHitch takes the place of your vehicle's impact beam which ultimately gives you the ability to completely hide the crosstube. This hitch gives you a factory look compared to the bulky Curt - 2" # C13409.
To complete your setup, I recommend the Tekonsha T-One Wiring Harness - 4-Way # 118467. This harness will give your trailer basic running lights, brake lights, and turn signal functions. In addition to the wiring, I recommend a ball/ball mount like the ones included in the Curt Towing Starter Kit # C45534. Not only does this kit come with a hitch cover, it also comes with a locking hitch pin.
