Expert Reply:
If your 2008 Ford F-150 came with the factory tow package you should have a connector that will connect directly to a Pollak Replacement 7-Pole, RV-Style Trailer Connector Socket # PK11893.
If your F-150 did not come with a factory tow package the Plug-N-Tow (R) Vehicle Wiring Harness # 40185 will give you a 4-way flat connector and then you will need a kit like our Universal Installation Kit for Trailer Brake Controller # ETBC7 to get a 7-way. In the event you are also needing a brake controller the Tekonsha Prodigy P3 # 90195 is a proportional controller that will adjust for hard or light braking. It is also customizable and has built in diagnostics for help troubleshooting issues.
