Can Towing Capacity of 2021 Mercedes GLC 300 be Exceeded Slightly
Question:
I’d like to use the stealth hitch and stealth wiring for my Mercedes 2021 GLC 300 4matic, rated at 3500 lbs towing. My boat and trailer is a bit over that, but not by much. Is this hitch, with a 2” receiver, Class II or Class III? Stealth literature doesn’t state the Class.

With the Stealth hitch part # SH47MR installed on your 2021 Mercedes Benz GLC 300 you would have to stick to the lowest rated component in your towing setup as your overall towing capacity. Even if it's by a little bit we cannot safely recommend exceeding your towing capacity. Stealth doesn't put Classifications on their hitches but this one lines up mostly with a Class III hitch.
