The extremely short bed of your 2019 F-150 Platinum with a 5-1/2 foot bed leaves you with only a couple of options. There are no sliders for your truck so you will need a standard 5th wheel hitch and a rotating pin box for clearance when making turns.

For you 5th wheel hitch I recommend the Reese M5 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch - Single Jaw - 20,000 lbs item # RP30928. The M5 is a heavy-duty 5th-wheel hitch that has a 1-piece, wraparound jaw and easy-to-see lock indicator for maximum safety and security. It has a gross towing weight of 20,000 lbs and a vertical load limit of 5,000 lbs. The hitch has height settings of 14", 16", or 18".

To install this hitch in your F-150 you will want to use the Reese Quick-Install Custom Outboard Installation Kit w/ Base Rails for 5th Wheel Trailer Hitches item # RP56034-53. These installation brackets mount beneath your truck bed to provide attachment points for industry standard 5th-wheel rails. The custom brackets mount to existing holes in your F-150's frame, minimizing drilling and measuring.

You will also want to add the Curt 5th Wheel/Gooseneck Custom Wiring Harness w/ 7-Pole Connector for Aluminum Beds - 7' Long item # C57008. This allows you to add a 7-way connector inside your truck bed for easy access when hooking up to your 5th wheel. It also lets you keep the connector at your bumper.

To answer the second part of your question you will need a different pin box for a 2022 Grand Design Reflection 280RS 5th Wheel Trailer to work with your 2019 F-150 Platinum with a 5-1/2 foot bed. The Reese Sidewinder 5th Wheel King Pin you were looking at is a great option. This fits the Lippert 1621 pinbox which that model trailer should have. You will need to confirm this once you have purchased the trailer.

The pivoting action of the Reese Sidewinder lets your trailer turn and clear the cab so you don't have to exit your truck to adjust when turning. The pivot point is moved 22" towards the rear, offering plenty of clearance while still keeping your load safely in front of the rear axle
