Will Rack 'Em RA-28 Ladder Rack work on 7 x 16 Utility Trailer With AC Unit on Roof

Question:

Do you have any kind of roof rack that will fit a 7 x 16 cargo trailer? There is an AC unit on the top in the middle

The Rack 'Em # RA-28 ladder rack would be a good choice because it fits trailers up to 8-1/2 feet wide, but you'll need to take a measurement to see if the top of the crossbars will sit higher than the top of your AC unit. The ladder rack is 17 inches tall, measured from the underside of the mounting bracket to the top of the crossbars

The mounting bracket typically mounts to the side of the trailer so that the underside of the bracket sits on the rain gutter. Have a helper place a piece of lumber like a 2x4 on top of the AC unit so it's level. Measure upward from the rain gutter to the underside of the 2x4. If this measurement is less than 17 inches, the # RA-28 ladder rack will work great for you.
