How to Add Vehicle-to-Trailer Charging for Lithium Battery Bank on Small Trailer
Question:
I have a 21 GeoPro 19FBS that uses the WFCO WF-8735 converter. I am changing over to lithium and saw you have the new converter for this. In reading the description, it talks about charging from shore power, but says nothing about converting power from my tow vehicle when hooked up. Is the new panel configured to do this?

The Progressive Dynamics RV Power Control Center with AC/DC Panel and Converter/Smart Charger - 35 Amp # PD4135K is exactly what you need so you can use the lithium batteries. In regards to your batteries being charged by your tow vehicle, unless your 21 GeoPro 19FBS is already set up to charge the batteries through the tow vehicle we will need to use a separate charging system.
For your application I recommend going with the 25 Amp Redarc In-Vehicle BCDC Battery Charger # 331-BCDC1225D because it is the best option we have to give you the most accurate charging for your battery bank, plus it gives you the option to tie in a solar panel system if that's something you'd like to do further on down the road (no pun intended).
To get this installed properly we put together a kit that includes the connectors and special fuses as part # e79ZR.
Attached is an installation video for you to check out.
