Need backing plate and brake assy...my mounting hole pattern is 4 holes spaced 3 inches on center?

Most likely what you need for a brake flange is the part # 4-35 which has the standard 4 on 2-7/8 inch bolt pattern measured on center but you should measure yours again to be sure. This is a very common bolt pattern whereas 3 inches is not an option that we carry.
This also fits the standard 3,500 l trailer axle diameter of 2-3/8 inches. So based on that the assembly set that you'd need is the part # AKEBRK-35-SA. This is a self adjusting set of brakes that fits a 10 inch hub/drum.
