For your 2016 BMW X6 I recommend the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # 13077. This receiver fits all models including the M class.
For your wiring the ZCI Circuit Protected Vehicle Wiring Harness # 119250KIT will allow you to tie into your factory wiring without splicing any of the wiring on your X6. This will then connect to a 7-Way RV Upgrade Kit # ETBC7L. The upgrade kit will allow you to use the Curt Echo Trailer Brake Controller # C51180 for the brakes on your jet ski trailer.
The etrailer Ball Mount Kit # 989900 will give you 2 ball mounts, 2 hitch pins/clips, 1-7/8" hitch ball, 2" hitch ball and a storage bag. You will be able to choose the ball mount that best levels your jet ski trailer and the correct ball for your coupler. If your coupler is a different size let me know and I will find you the correct hitch ball.
