What Cargo Carrier with Ramp do You Recommend for Transporting My Trike on My Motorhome?
Question:
I have a 2008 tiffin allegro open road 32la class A RV . I am looking for a hitch carrier for my liberty trike. R The interior carrier needs ro be a minimum of 47 x 25. I would like a ramp that folds into the carrier when not in use. Also that it folds up when not in use. Can you make a recommendation?

I have a great solution for you. I recommend the 30x50 Flint Hill Goods Cargo Carrier w/ 48" Ramp - 2" Hitches # FHG77ZR. This carrier provides the interior dimensions you need as well as an integrated ramp. Also, you will need to attach some ratcheting straps to secure your trike like the Erickson # 34413. For theft deterrence, I recommend the Anti-Rattle Trailer Hitch Receiver Lock for 2" Hitches - 3-1/2" # 63232.
If you need a hitch receiver for your 2008 Tiffin Allegro, I recommend a universal RV hitch like the Adjustable Width Trailer Hitch Receiver for RVs, 22" to 66" Wide # C13704. Not only does this hitch come with a 500-pound tongue weight capacity and a 5,000 pound gross towing capacity, it also comes with adjustable brackets that accommodate trailer frames that measure 22-66 inches. In order to make sure the hitch fits, I recommend measuring the width of your Allegro's frame from left to right.
