No Power To Cameras On Travel Trailer With Furrion Camera System Using 2021 GMC

Question:

I have a new 2022 Rockwood Geo Pro and bought from you the furrion vision S camera system. It is prewired on the back with that shark fin mount so that was easy enough but the side ones are not working. I followed the instructions and have wired similar systems to other campers without issue. There is power and the lights illuminate but the cameras won't work. My tow vehicle is a 2021 Yukon and on a forum I used for troubleshooting someone said the Chevy/GMC vehicles won't work. Is this correct?

There is some accuracy to what you read on the forum. But no worries, we can provide a solution. You simply need the 7-Way Vehicle Power Adapter w/ Power Switch for Furrion RV Observation Camera, # FR87PR. This will resolve your connection issues between the Furrion Vision S Wireless RV Observation Camera System w/ Side Marker Light Cameras & 5" Screen, # FCE48TASL-05. It plugs directly into the 7-way connector on your 2021 GMC Yukon then to your trailer wiring, acting as a connector between the two. No cutting, splicing, or hardwiring required. It will interface to your vehicle's power management software to provide the correct level of 12-volt power to your RV camera system to function properly.
