14 Inch Wheel Suggestions for Boat Trailer

Question:

Hello. I’m looking at buying new rims for my boat trailer from you guys. I have a 4 1/2 bolt pattern and the tire size on her is 205 75R14. I definitely want some shine but also a great look. I want to make sure I look at the right ones. Could you please let me know what to look for as far as size etc and if you know of something that I’m talking about please send me a link. I greatly appreciate it and as always it’s a pleasure doing business with you. Thanks

A 205/75-14 tire will fit a 14 inch rim that's 5, 5-1/2, 6 or 6-1/2 inches wide.

I'd be happy to make a few recommendations for a 5 on 4-1/2 inch bolt pattern wheel that's compatible with your tire size.

On the more affordable end of the spectrum, the Taskmaster PVD black steel wheel, part # 460545MBPVD uses a PVD coating that's more durable than what you'd see on a galvanized wheel and is much more corrosion resistant than chrome.

A good, middle priced option would be the Taskmaster Viking 14 x 5-1/2 inch wheel, part # AX02455545FPS. The wheel includes the center cap.

Another option would be the Sendel 14 x 5-1/2 inch aluminum wheel, part # AM22329 for a cleaner look.

A center cap like # LHCS102-SI60C would work great with the PVD and the Sendel aluminum wheel I recommended.
