Recommended Pads For Carrying a Kayak On a Ladder Rack That Has 2" Diameter Cross Bars

What are my options for carrying a kayak on a 2" tubular lumber rack? Can I use foam kayak blocks? Thanks

I recommend the Rhino-Rack SUP and Surfboard Pads w/ Tie-Downs # RRRWP03 for carrying your kayak on your 2" rack. These pads secure around the bars with Velcro down the full length of the pad. This will help to hold the pad in place when you load your kayak. The rubber coated cam buckle straps ensure you do not damage your kayak and the leftover strap secures securely with its own Velcro strap.
The Rightline Gear Kayak Carrier with Tie-Downs # RL100K10 that you found has the foam blocks that are notched to fit the aero crossbars and smaller bars so I am afraid that they will turn to easily on your larger diameter rack.
