Recommended Trailer Hitch Receiver for 2022 Honda Odyssey
Question:
I would like to add a hitch to my 2022 Honda Odyssey for various reason and was wondering if there was one you think would be a good choice?

For your 2022 Honda Odyssey I would choose the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver # 76170. This is a custom fit Class III hitch with a 2" receiver. The main reason I would recommend this hitch is the concealed cross tube. You already have pretty limited clearance. With this hitch you will only have the receiver tube hanging down at the back so your overall clearance will be better and it will also give it that factory look.
If one of your various reasons for adding a hitch is towing, you will also want to add wiring. I recommend the Tekonsha T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness # 118781. This plugs into existing wiring and will provide you with a 4-way connection to power your trailer's signal lights.
If you need a ball mount check out the etrailer Ball Mount Kit # 989900. This kit has two ball mounts, one with a 3/4" rise or 2" drop and the other with a 2-3/4" rise or 4" drop. It also comes with a 1-7/8" and 2" ball, as well as a ball mount bag to store everything in.
I have attached some installation and review videos for your reference.
