Correct Ball Size for Reese 66557 Weight Distribution Hitch
Question:
Your description for this item says that it needs a ball with a 1-1/4 shank. I found that these are availalble with 1-1/4 diameter shanks but in several different shank lengths. Can you tell me how long the shank can be minimum & maximum length so I can be sure and get the correct ball? Thanks.

The High Performance Reese Weight Distribution System, item # 66557, is designed to use a medium shank hitch ball with a length between 2-5/8 inches and 2-3/4 inches. I have listed 3 recommended balls below.
