Blue light On The Performance Tools Solar Battery Charger Not Properly Functioning
Question:
The blue light is on when in the sun. No blink but goes off when I attach to my battery

I spoke with the manufacturer, Performance Tools, and was told that some of the LED light functions were coming from the factory reversed but that the 2.5-Watt Solar Battery Charger # PTW2997 would still function as it should. I recommend attaching the alligator clamps to the panel and testing the voltage with a digital multimeter # PT89ZR to see if the charger is actually still functioning. If so, then LED light function was just wired incorrectly at the factory but the charger is still operational. If not, then you would want to reach out to Performance Tools for a warranty exchange.
