Recommended Suspension Enhancement To Support Slide out On 2017 Thor Motorhome On 18K F-53 Chassis

Question:

I have a 2017 Thor class a motorhome on the 18klb F53 chassis. The model of my coach has a super large slide out on the drivers side which is weighs slot and my coach rides 1.25” lower on the driver side. Can I purchase a si for helper spring for that side to assist with the extra weight ?

I recommend the SumoSprings Maxim Custom Helper Springs # SSR-187-40-1 for the rear axle and the SumoSprings Rebel Custom Helper Springs # SSF-170-40-2 for the front axle of your 2017 Thor Motorhome on the F-53 18,000lb chassis. These springs will help to support the additional weight of the heavy slide on the drivers side of your motorhome. The springs will greatly increase the overall stability while you drive while not creating a harsh ride. Since the springs are constructed of a microcellular urethane they offer a progressive spring rate that helps the shocks absorb vibration and large bumps. I do not recommend only installing them on the drivers side as they are only intended to be used as a set for a single axle.
