B&W Companion Slider 5TH Wheel Hitch Compatible With a 2006 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 Short Bed

Will a Ford BMW 3370 Companion sliding hitch work on a Chevy 6.5 ft bed? If not, why not?

The B&W Companion OEM 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch w Slider for Ford # BWRVK3370 connects to factory in bed mounting points that are specific to the Ford Trucks. Ford began installing these mounting points as an option on their 2011 and newer F-250 and F-350.
Chevrolet did not start using their own factory in bed mounts until 2015 and their mounting points are different than the Ford mounts so it would use a different hitch.
For your 2006 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 with the 6.5' bed I recommend the B&W Companion 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch w/ Slider # BWRVK3400-5W that will mount with the Custom Underbed Installation Kit for B&W Companion 5th Wheel # BWGNRK1067-5W
