Troubleshooting LED Tail Lights Not Working on Trailer When Connected to 4-way
Question:
I put some LED brake, turn, driving lights on my hitch haul. While they will activate by connecting straight to battery power, when I plug it into the factory 4-way on my 2018 RAM 2500, they will not light. Would resistors fix this? Do I need resistors on each positive wire brake, blinker and running?

You have the right idea here and based on what you have told me resistors are the answer. You would need to install Load Resistor Kit for LED Turn Signals # DI34ZR. When you add resistors you need one per power wire. Alternatively you could also use the Trailer Connector Adapter w/ Lamp-Out Sensor Bypass # 20142 which would do the same thing without having to splice any wires.
