Can The Fulton Hi-Mount Spare Tire Carrier # FHDSTC0101 Be Adjusted Inside The Mounting Brackets?
Question:
Hi Etrailer: On the Fulton Hi Mount Spare Tire Carrier FHDSTC0101, is the tube welded to the backing plate? If not, then can I get some more height by moving the tube up? How much more would you estimate 1, 2 more height? Thank you

Expert Reply:
The tube on the Fulton Hi-Mount Spare Tire Carrier # FHDSTC0101 is welded to the backing plate. You will not be able to adjust the tube for additional height as the bracket will give you 4-3/4" lift and 7" offset. The included brackets and hardware allow you to mount to trailer frames up to 3" wide and 5" tall.
