What All Is Needed To Set Up A 2021 Ford F-150 Raptor For Flat Towing?
Question:
I need to get my new 2021 Ford F-150 Raptor set up to be flat towed behind my RV. I want to make sure everything will fit the Raptor since this is a bit different than the standard models. I am looking at the Roadmaster InvisiBrake so I need stuff that will work with that.

Your 2021 Ford F-150 Raptor is a little limited on options, but we do have a full set up for you. With that said, you will need to start with the Demco Tabless Base Plate Kit # DM56MV. This is a bolt on application that will require no welding and the removable tabs make it a very clean install. The Demco Dominator Non-Binding Tow Bar # DM9511008 will then attach to the base plate and includes the safety cables. This is rated up to 7,500 pounds so it will have problems handling your truck.
For wiring, you will want to start with the Roadmaster Diode 7-Wire to 6-Wire Flexo-Coil Wiring Kit # RM-15267. This includes most of what you need to get the Roadmaster InvisiBrake Supplemental Braking System # RM-8700 up and running. The only other part you will need is the Roadmaster Brake-Lite Relay Kit # RM-88400. This works with the tow bar wiring system to ensure that your towed vehicle's turn signal lights flash in tandem with your RV's lights. This will be the last part needed to complete this set up.
