Can Thule WingBar Evo Roof Rack For 2017 Honda CR-V w/ Naked Roof Transfer to 2018 Ford Fusion

Hello. I had the Thule roof rack system for a 2017 Honda CR-V. What I’m trying to figure out is if I can use those same feet on a 2018 Ford Fusion and if so what adapter plates I would need to purchase to accommodate. I have the aero bars that extend past the feet. Thank you.

The answer to this question is yes you can, so long as you have the Thule WingBar Evo roof rack (and not the AeroBlade), and you are transferring it from a 2017 Honda CR-V with a naked roof to an '18 Fusion with a naked roof. The reason you would have to have the WingBar Evo is because Thule changed their roof rack style from the AeroBlade, and no longer makes parts for the AeroBlade roof racks.

So, that said, if you do have the WingBar on a '17 CR-V with a naked roof you would have the Thule WingBar Evo Crossbars - Silver # TH711400 or Black # TH711420 and the Evo Clamp Feet for Thule Crossbars # TH710501.

If you have those parts, you can transfer them to your 2018 Ford Fusion with just a new fit kit, the Fit Kit for Thule Evo Clamp Roof Rack Feet # TH145186.
