Is There A Snow Tire Cable That Fits My 2012 Subaru Forester With 225/55 17 Tires

I want to buy a set of tire cables for 2012 Subaru Forester. I have read my manual and I understand Subaru recommends front tires only and class s cables. What are your best recommendations for packed snow covered forestry roads? 225/55/17. Thank you in advance

I checked your 2012 Subaru Forester owner's manual and snow tire cables are OK, if they are confirmed a fit by the manufacturer and they are Class S compatible. There is not a snow tire cable, in our fit guide, for that sized tire on your Forester. I am guessing that the 225/55 17 tires are aftermarket. I was able to find a confirmed fit for your 225/55 17 sized tires. The Glacier Cable Snow Tire Chains - 1 Pair, part # PW1038, will fit your tires. They are a Class S compatible snow tire chain. The Class S designation is for snow tire chains that will fit wheel wells with tight tolerances. I would still pay close attention to these snow tire chains and their clearance in your wheel wells, since this fit is for tire size only, and not for this tire size on your Subaru Forester.

However, the Titan Chain Alloy Snow Tire Chains - Diamond Pattern - Square Link - 1 Pair, part # TC2327, you attached to your question will not fit your vehicle.
