Replacement For 7-1/2 Inch Equa-Flex Equalizers on Keystone Montana

Question:

2011 Keystone Montana Mountaineer 346LBQ 5th wheel. Currently have the Equaflex equalizer and wanting to know if the Road Armor equalizer will work and what installation kit is needed that would include the wet bolts.

Appreciate the photo, and while you can replace those equalizers and add new bolts and shackle straps, the Road Armor won't work because the horizontal bolt spacing is 6 inches, which is too large a difference compared to the 7-1/2 inch spacing of your Equa-Flex. If yours are worn, you can replace them with new Equa-Flex, and there is also an install kit:

- Equa-Flex Cushioned Equalizers # LC279688

- Lippert Tandem Axle Equa-Flex AP Kit - Wet Bolts # LC64FR

These Equa-Flex have the same hole spacing as your current equalizers, and the wet bolt kit gives you the new bolts and shackle straps for a hardware upgrade.
