Parts Needed to Switch From 4 on 4 to 5 on 4-1/2 Bolt Pattern
Question:
I just purchased a 2018 E Pro 14FK . It has 13inch tires/wheels. Dexter axle. The wheels have 4 bolt lugs. I want to add 15inch tires and wheels and a lift kit to accommodate . To change to a presumably 5 bolt lug, what else do I need to purchase ? Thanks.

In order to switch to a 5 on 4-1/2 bolt pattern you are going to need a new hub and drum assembly. In order to select the correct one, you will need to figure out your axle capacity and what bearings fit your spindle.
Assuming your trailer has a 3,500 lb axle using the # L68149 inner and # L44649 outer bearing, you would be looking at the # 84546UC3 of if you have E-Z lube axles the # AKHD-545-35-EZ-K instead.
I recommend pulling off your current hub and drum assembly and looking at the bearings to verify this. If the parts numbers are not visible you will need to measure using a digital caliper like the # PTW80157. See the diagram below for where to measure. I would also make double check the axle capacity to make sure it matches.
I have attached some review videos along with a link to all of our hub and drum assemblies with a 5 on 4-1/2 bolt pattern that you can check out.
